Your safari at a glance

Often described as the Pearl of Africa, Uganda is a captivating place to discover natural wonders, unlike anywhere else on the planet. The first stop on our primate safari takes you to the dense forests of Kibale National Park, which is home to more than 1,400 chimpanzees. In addition to tracking chimps, Kibale National Park also features an extensive network of forest trails, home to more than 320 tropical bird species.

The highlight of your travels is a visit to the endangered mountain gorilla’s natural habitat of shady bamboo thickets, with sensational views of lush green rainforests. There are four trailheads in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, where you can track one of 14 habituated gorilla families by venturing past beautiful sun-lit waterfalls and through the dense jungle canopy. In addition to regular chimp tracking, you can accompany researchers on an extended chimpanzee habituation experience as they follow chimpanzees throughout their daily activities.

Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and Mgahinga Gorilla National Park are also considered a bird-lover’s paradise. Enjoy serious hiking trips on an extensive network of tropical forest trails, combined with fascinating cultural insights revealed by the Batwa forest people.

The final stop takes you to Lake Mburo National Park, where you can take part in game drives, nature walks and a boat cruise on the lake.
